Security Level 2 IDEAL Paper Shredders > S2 is the second shredder DIN Standard security level and is an appropriate level of security when shredding internal documents that should be made illegible with a Strip width not greater than 6mm or particle area not greater than 800mm2.

Security Level 3 IDEAL Paper Shredders > S3 is the third shredder DIN Standard security level and is an appropriate level of security when shredding confidential documents that should be made illegible with a Particle width not greater than 4mm and length not greater than 80mm, or Particle area not greater than 320mm2

Security Level 4 IDEAL Paper Shredders > S4 is the fourth shredder DIN Standard security level and offers an appropriate level of security when shredding documents that contain secrets that should be made illegible with a Particle width not greater than 2mm and length not greater than 15mm, or Particle area not greater than 30mm2

Security Level 5 IDEAL Paper Shredders > S5 is the highest shredder DIN Standard security level and offers an appropriate level of security when shredding top secret documents with a Particle width not greater than 0.8mm and length not greater than 13mm, or Particle area not greater than 10mm2

Security Level 6 IDEAL Paper Shredders > S6 is not listed under DIN Standard security levels but is widely recognised as the ultimate level of security and offers an appropriate level of security when shredding top secret documents with a Particle width not greater than 1mm and length not greater than 5mm, or Particle area not greater than 5mm2
